I moved to
Tennessee
to find the kind of lifestyle that was disappearing from Florida, where
I grew up. I wanted a “laid-back lifestyle”, peace and quiet, great
hunting and fishing, beautiful scenery, and friendly neighbors. While
growing up in Central Florida, I noticed those things I enjoyed so much
where disappearing.
I grew up in Orlando, attended college at the
University of Florida and the University of Central Florida, then
started a career in Daytona Beach with the Sherwin-Williams Co. That
was the 1980s and already there were too many people in Central and
South Florida.
It seemed that there were less places to hunt,
fish, and enjoy the outdoors. At the same time it seemed that all those
new residents had brought crime, bad ideas, and bad attitudes with
them. Florida was changing and was loosing that
peaceful, beautiful and fun lifestyle.
I knew I needed to buy some property in the country to find that
lifestyle again.
After much research and looking, my best friends
and I found a 90 acre farm in Jackson County, Tennessee, that had
everything we were looking for. The rest as they say is history.
Circumstances allowed me to relocate here in 1991.

Moving to the
“middle of
nowhere” took getting used to at first. But after just a few
months my neighbors were treating me like family. I accepted a new
sales job with Clayton Homes in Cookeville, and was enjoying my new
found “paradise”. After 5 years with
Clayton Homes, I was promoted to Wholesale Factory Rep out of
Knoxville. Although I lived in Knoxville during the work week, I
continued to come “home” on the
weekends. While in Knoxville, I met my wife. In 2003 we decided it was
time to move back to the farm in middle Tennessee and enjoy life.
My wife was able to secure a position with a
mortgage company in Cookeville, while I decided to try selling what I
really love, Tennessee Real Estate.
I received my real estate license in April of 2005, and have been very
successful since. In fact, I received an Award of Excellence
from the Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors for sales that year.
Today, I continue to strive for excellence as I
help folks with one of their most important purchases in their life. I
love seeing people smile after they have found their new home. And I
take great pride in knowing I helped them negotiate a great deal and
helped them find their dream. How can I help you find your dream home
or land???
Give me a call or drop me an e-mail to schedule an
appointment to discuss and start making your
dream home or land come true in
Tennessee. I service the
Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee to include but not limited to
Gainesboro in Jackson County and Celina in Clay County.
